Guest #26 January 13, 2003 Time to buck up this thread again. The Washington Post, as vile a paper it is, still hits a bullseye now and then. This particularly scathing op-ed piece is deliciously corrosive... My favorite bit: "If the public needs 'experts' in order to distinguish between a space alien cult and a legitimate scientific institute, then the problem lies elsewhere." heh-heh "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." miked10270 0 #27 January 13, 2003 Hi there, Apart from the fact that I have seen "Dr" Bossellier, and having seen her I sincerely hope for the sake of the human race and our own little gene pool that SHE is cloned from an alien (or at least from an original Star Trek extra who needed surprisingly little makeup)...I tended to suspect that this was a hoax right from the first announcement, when she said that "The first human baby clone.... Is flying back to the US with it's parents". Shouldn't she have said "Parent", not "Parents"?And another thing. Who is the child (or childs if there are really several) clones of? Can someone please reassure me that "Dr." Bossellier has not cloned either herself... Or her hairdresser. If the child is a clone of it's mother, then does that make the child it's own progenitor? If the child is the clone of the mother's sister then is the mother's sister the childs Mother or Aunt? Suppose we extend the possibilities to cousins, grandparents...? If the child is the clone of it's mothers parent, is the child still the Mother's daughter, or vice versa? These questions could tax even Texan Genealologists! Mike.
