Enrique 0 #1 January 13, 2003 Hi guys! It's been a while. Happy new year to all... One of my teammates and I are hading out to the tunnel in Orlando next Friday. We are planning on going to Z-Hills either Saturday or Sunday morning. Who's gonna be there? (We're flatties, 4-way freaks, o.k.?) BTW, how far from the tunnel is Z-Hills? And what's the cheapest/best way to get there? See ya!
skymama 37 #2 January 13, 2003 Are you coming the 17th, or the 24th?She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PLFXpert 0 #3 January 13, 2003 I know Skymama, Stacy and SkymonkeyONE were planning on being there. Dove jumps there, as well. I was going to be there for the swoop comp, but it's been postponed so I will be in Deland. The tunnel is about 45 minutes from there. I'm sure others will be posting w/ more info. Have fun!Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Enrique 0 #11 January 13, 2003 Mama: I'm bringing my gf (whuffo) along; is there anything fun she can do in or near Orlando and Z-hills while we are jumping and training in the tunnel?
Enrique 0 #12 January 13, 2003 is it expensive?

You can eat next door at the Kentucky Fried Pigeon that is run by the Haitian Embassy. You must speak French to use the drive thru. Stacy 0 #14 January 13, 2003 in orlando she may want to go to universal's citywalk. easy to kill an hour or so there. at the DZ, there's the bar, and people watching there is always entertaining. there are some regulars who come out just to watch landings. on sunday morning the old military guys come out and jump rounds, that's fun to watch. esp the one guy who always tries to stand up. yowch!! Stacy 0 #15 January 13, 2003 no it's not expensive, nor is it a 5 star resort either. i'd recommend going back to zhills to partay with the monkeys, muff brothers, etc etc.
Enrique 0 #16 January 13, 2003 The Riande ? Oh boy! *** Is this a bad vibe I'm getting about the Riande? Should I stay away from that place?
Enrique 0 #17 January 13, 2003 i'd recommend going back to zhills to partay with the monkeys, muff brothers, etc etc.*** I'd love to, but mind you that we need a place to sleep/shower....... well, maybe only to sleep

The Riande is within a block of the tunnel. It is quite reasonable. Clean, not fancy. Orlando at night? All kinds of stuff. Disneys Pleasure Island, City Walk (downtown - 3 minute cab ride). skymama 37 #19 January 13, 2003 Well, does she like to shop? She will be surrounded by outlet malls, and the tunnel is located on the strip called International Drive which is a shopping mecca itself for tourists. She won't be able to go 10 feet without running into a store down there. Of course, the place I got my belly pierced is there too...she could always do that! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PLFXpert 0 #20 January 13, 2003 Yea, if you like 3 for $10 T-shirts, than I-drive is the place to be Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
skymama 37 #21 January 13, 2003 No, silly, they have Pointe Orlando real close to the tunnel. Then there's the Beltz Outlet mall, and that huge new one they built a little further down I-4 with all the big designer outlet stores. And, Florida Mall is pretty close by too.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PLFXpert 0 #22 January 13, 2003 Belz is not new, it's been there FOREVER. I used to shop there was little and I was a major tomboy turned fashion queen. My stepmom corrupted meThe fashion-square mall just got some nice stores, too. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
skymama 37 #23 January 13, 2003 I'm not talking about Beltz. This one's a few more exits down I-4, but it's humongous and has the really good designer names. Oh, I forgot about the Mall of Millena. It's supposed to be really nice just to walk around in with really chic and expensive stuff. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PLFXpert 0 #24 January 13, 2003 I haven't heard of the mall of millena. Does it have a BCBG? I just went to the one in St. Augustine, when I was shopping at the Timberland outlet for BZ....I loved EVERYTHING but they had NOTHING left in my size, damnit, and the prices were so good. I'm so outta the loop. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
arlo 0 #25 January 13, 2003 You're right Andrea. The Premium Outlet or Prime Outlet mall (Premium, Prime, can't remember exactly) is the one you're thinking of and it's west of orlando near lake buena vista. They have Kenneth Cole, AE, DKNY, and a bunch of others. I think they're open until like 11pm or something.... arlo
