Vegetarian? Omnivore? Carnivore?

a big glass of V8 to my daily regime.

Add some water to that too...V8 has a ton of sodium (37% RDA) per serving, which any normal person would exceed (especially with a nice, big glass! ;))
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Sodium Shmodium...I put salt on EVERYTHING. I think most of my body is water retained from all the salt I eat;):P

I take all my vitamins like a good girl...other than that, I dont' pay much attention to calories, fat grams, sodium, etc. As long as I love what I see when I look in the mirror, then no worries;)

Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

98% vegetarian.

Sometimes out in the world I'll eat other stuff,
but at home it's all plants.

DJan is about 99.5%.

If I were out in the woods in survival mode,
I'd eat whatever it took, but here in day to
day mode plants seem like a better idea.

They're easier to catch for one thing.

Woo! Vegans in da House.
Yeah, so about 5 years now for me, and things are great.
And RichM, do I think being vegan is a luxury? No. Why? Because while I can't see starving ethiopians refusing any food, I also cannot see starving ethiopians believing that the 12 pounds of grains, 2500 gal. of water required to produce 1 pound of meat is justifiable. Or that 70% of US grain production is fed to livestock, for that matter.[:/]

Fit for humans? The vast majority of it. Ask anyone hungry enough to go through a dumpster; they'll pick out the bad pieces and eat the rest. Tasty and appetizing? Nope, probably not.

I agree with Wendy on her comments, and would like to add, that the land that is currently growing these grains can also be used for growing more pleasant ones, and a host of other things.
Edit:
Just wanted to add that I think that this is a tragic, and irresponsible mis-appropriation of our resources.

Plants is what the food eats...

thats what Im saying. eliminate the meaty portions out of our diet, and now their a drain on our resources for 'plants'. So I figure dont fix it if it aint broke. Those cute little animals are gonna die weather eat em or not... might as well make me happy!

Yup, I quit all that when I was 11, and it wasn't hard to give up burgers but BACON....ooooh, the smell of it still drives me wild but I haven't touched it.

Oh geez, I DO miss bacon. You just had to say something about bacon didn't you?:)

I'm very much an omnivore. I eat everything that I can (stupid shellfish allergy). Actually, I'll eat shrimp occasionally, though I know I'll be sick afterwards. I try to avoid anything hydrogenated, but otherwise anything goes. I try to use olive oil, where possible. I love meat, but I eat lots of fruits and vegetables. I'm a big fan of cheese.

I've been a vegetarian since sixth grade. My sister Marisa works at a place called MaryJane's Farm (hee hee, gotta love the name!!! :D) that makes all sorts of really good cheap veggie stuff. And it's really easy to make--easier than ramen noodles! :)
