It's Friday, and I'm not skydiving tomorrow.

That, and the fact it was a "trick rig". A BASE rig with 2 canopies. Come on, how practical is that. I couldn't skydive the damn thing (something about a stupid TSO), and I never had the guts to do a "fun-away".
Well, I am still alive because of it, so maybe it was a good thing. Or not, who knows.

It was probably fogged in all day today. I live about 15 miles from the DZ, and the sky never cleared over my house.

I did work on the video all day, and I just can't figure out how to compress the file enough to get it on to a DVD. I did get a call from the fair Bonnie, and I think she's rounded up a buyer for my 170 rig.

Just two more weeks, I can do it.

Skymama! Took the kids to the park, nice walk with all of them. Freezing out here today!

Cheers all!

JP

Oh, and Other JP, when the monkeys fly out of my ass, they'll hand you jump tickets:P

Winds were screaming out of the south (and over the mountains, making the weather un-jumpable) by 8 this morning. Jack and 7-Up was consumed at 11:09. I laid on the beach and watched people surf. I'd love to think the winds will shift by tomorrow but it is winter...oh well, I'll be in ELoy in a couple of weeks.

Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

Were you watching the surfing at Sunset Beach? I watched that for a while on TV today - huge waves. I was there June last year and I thought the waves were big then.

I was in Haleiwa, couple of miles away. The waves weren't that big, or that pretty, but I did get to see all my DZ friends getting pummeled....thought about jumping in but that right nipple is very sore and I had on a bathing suit that wouldn't have offered any protection.
The waves at Sunset get HUGE in the winter, most of the white folk leave it for the locals.

Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

I was scared of just wading in the water when I was there in June - and I guess they were not even that big. The waves are minimal and small at the beaches I go to around here. Hawaii is a gorgeous place though.
