jose 0 #1 January 18, 2003 I know this question has come up a couple times in the past, but I don't think I've seen it in a poll yet. Just trying to get a feel how "open-minded" skydivers are, etc...

jose 0 #4 January 18, 2003 Whatever, you don't know what it's like. I need to know these things, and I can't just walk up to everyone at the DZ and ask them if they are gay also... This poll will help me figure out if this is the sport for me...
SkydiveMonkey 0 #5 January 18, 2003 Would it matter if people were straight or gay in this sport? You might not be able to sleep with everyone, but you can still jump / party with em.____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
blewaway5 0 #6 January 18, 2003 Ah man, here we go again. In all honesty, what's it matter. Here, let me some it up for you--we all like getting off when we can, we all know you want to get off, too. If you line up a piece of ass, good for you. If I line up a piece of ass, good for me. If anyone else lines up a piece of ass, good for them. I won't give you crap for getting laid if you don't give me crap for getting laid. Are you getting the picture? Truman Sparks for President
jose 0 #7 January 18, 2003 It isn't if they ary gay or not. When you heteros go out, of course you are all hitting on the girls because nature has told you that is what you are supposed to do. What I am saying is that not everyone is interested in the same things, and I have problems making "new friends" at the DZ, because for some reason, homosexuality is frowned upon at DZs. If there were a couple of other people at my DZ that would stand up and come out of the closet, it would make socializing at the DZ that much more fun for me, just like you heteros go out with the hot chicks after the day of jumping is over.... konradptr 0 #8 January 18, 2003 Seriously, my stomach is so sick from all this gay talk, I don't know if I can skydive today. Look jose, BE GAY IF YOU WANT!!!!!!!! I don't want any part of it, and none of my friends want any part of it. Do your thing with all the other gay skydivers, but do us a favor and only hit on the known gay skydivers. You're lucky I didn't punch you out for what you tried to do in Eloy.... I won't ask, I just want you not to tell.... ------------------------------------------ Getting banned isn't that bad...... SkydiveMonkey 0 #9 January 18, 2003 I can see your point, but if those people won't hang out with you cos of your sexual preference, they ain't worth it.____________________ Say no to subliminal messages

I am not gay, I know gay skydivers. we hang out after jumping, no big deal. Contrary to what you post though, I don't go to the DZ to find a date/mate/quicky. I like to skydive and talk to those who enjoy it also -- no matter what they've got going on in their personal lives, unless they are a complete butt head of course, then I don't want to talk to them at all, but that goes for every day living too. skygal3 0 #13 January 18, 2003 Geez. Personally I would like to think that sexual preference has nothing to do with who you hang out with at the dz. Well, the dz I jump at is just way too small to be seeking out people to get involved with, and yes it happens but I would much rather hang out with people afterwards that are not looking at me as a potential score, but just a cool chick to hang out with. I certainly don't look to "score" with those that I jump with. Contrary to popular belief, of course

I don't know the numbers and this may not hold for America, but over here, skydiving is mostly a male sport. Sure, there are some women, but not all (and I hope I'm not offending anyone) would fit in the 'hot chicks' category. IMO, skydiving is not one of those hobbys you take up to meet new sexual partners. Of course since the majority of skydivers are men, you would expect some of them to be gay, but compared to us finding hot chicks, you'll probably have a harder time finding gay skydivers. Sorry. As for open mindedness, I personally wouldn't mind if a gay person/couple was jumping with me.
