falxori 0 #1 January 24, 2003 does anybody know if there is a cable/converter that will allow me to connect a standard video output (yellow RCA connector) to an old RF tv input ? my sister got a DVD player and she has an old tv with the old rf antenna input. i'm sure there is something like that but i've been searching in stores like radioshack and so far all i got were puzzled looks and yeah, i know its a skydiving site... but if boobies are ok here, then so is my video cable !! wildblue 7 #2 January 24, 2003 yeah, because I just had someone throw theirs away the other day They bought it to hook up their DVD player, then I showed them how they could just run it through the VCR instead. Check your local Circuit City, HH Gregg, Best Buy, or whatever you have there. Just checked your profile :) this is basically what you're looking for. They might ship it there, but that could get expensive. If they have a VCR with A/V inputs, use that. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

Kuper 0 #7 January 24, 2003 does she have maybe an Euro (21pins) input in the TV? because there is a connector from RCA to Euro... if not - the way through a VCR is good too! http://www.orikuper.printroom.com
falxori 0 #8 January 25, 2003 Quote - now the question is, do they have Radio Shacks? actually we did, but they closed all of the stores (about 5) a couple of weeks ago. don't know why, i've spent enough money there to keep them up and running... don't worry, now that i know for sure there is one, i'll find it (or build it myself ) and Kuper, no. the tv doesnt have a SCART (21 pin) input, that would have been easy O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
