quade 4 #9 January 28, 2003 CHICAGO! I can't really speak for the other two, but Chicago is great. If it doesn't win "Best Picture" this year, I'm going to lose all faith in the Academy.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
bigben 0 #10 January 28, 2003 Accidently saw the hours, the first 20 minutes were really dull, then it got ok, liked it in the end. I'd see about Schmidt if you don't want to think too much. -Ben
Schroeder 0 #11 January 28, 2003 I liked about schmidt, he played it really well, and all but for that oh so wrong shot of one of the films stars, it was great.

My teenage daughter even liked it.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Scoby 0 #14 January 29, 2003 I've seen The Hours and Chicago. The Hours was a well-crafted, well-acted, and terminally boring film that ultimately added up to not much. However, Chicago was fantastic! I can't say that I generally like musicals, but it was fabulously entertaining. I'm going to About Schmidt tomorrow, so I can't comment. skymama 37 #15 January 29, 2003 Do you think Chicago is ok for teens? What is the PG-13 rating for?She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
jessd 0 #16 January 29, 2003 QuoteWhat is the PG-13 rating for? Parental Guidence is suggested for viewers under age 13. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."
skymama 37 #17 January 29, 2003 Quote Parental Guidence is suggested for viewers under age 13. Haha, well, I do know that! I was asking more along the lines of is it rated that for violence, language or sex?She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
quade 4 #18 January 29, 2003 Quote What is the PG-13 rating for? Sexually suggestive scenes. Some language. Dick Tracy style violence. Basically the story is about a woman in an affair that kills her lover and goes to prison. In prision she discovers that fame = a free ticket out of prision (ala OJ). But remember this -IS- a musical comedy. Is it ok for teens? I'd say it would depend on the teens in question and the views of the parents. My guess is that the Flanders probably wouldn't go, but Marge and Lisa Simpson probably would.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
