TomAiello 26 #7 January 30, 2003 QuoteTemp: 67°F Wow, I'm not sure what the time difference is, but I guess it's the middle of the night there?67 seems like a reasonable middle of the night temperature. I mean, you still have to wear a sweatshirt, but it's not freezing or anything.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
flyangel2 2 #8 January 30, 2003 Bill, I don't know if I could put up with those kinds of temps during the winter. IMO, the warm temps bring out all the traffice and smog problems. As for us in Colorado, it's been wonderfully warm, mid 50's. But gee, we could use some snow down in the foothills. The mountains are okay enough for a day on the board, so off I go on Friday. (sneaking out of work to go play ) May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

quade 4 #10 January 30, 2003 In an effort to not piss off too many jumpers in the rest of the country, jumpers reporting weather conditions at SoCal drop zones are now required to report in metric units. Current conditions at Perris: Sunny, winds out of the north west at 10 and 26 degrees. See, that doesn't seem like that big a deal now -- does it?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
RevJim 0 #11 January 30, 2003 Geez, are all the greenies in here from warm climates? Go ahead, rub it in, we can take it. Would someone please tell them to stop? I can't take it anymore. TomAiello 26 #13 January 30, 2003 Quote Tom, do you realize I, um, er, have no idea what your picture icon is? Here's the whole picture. I thought the picture was cool enough to try to extract an icon from, even though it was hard to get a small enough chunk for an icon.Maybe I'll change it, if enough people mention that they can't figure it out. Maybe not. I'm pretty lazy.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
