Nut under the strap?

Recommended Posts

I joke about it all the time with my students:

"Make sure nothing important is under the strap..."
"Make sure your boy's are outta the way..."
"You'll remember this skydive for all the wrong reasons..." etc...

Any guys ever get their nuts stuck under their leg strap? Any one-nutters out there? Brutal brutal...:P

I have never seen it myself. Well, yet again another productive learning post brought to you by the folks at Eat, F*ck, Skydive, Inc.

But to be honest I was really careful about that for my first naked skydive :P

Check left, check right, check middle, arch, look, reach pull :D

never personally experienced this, but I did witness it when I went to do my very first jump. The I that taught the first jump class also did some JM'ing (static line). He took the first load of students up, followed them out for a hop n pop, turned that into about 5 sec worth of delay, and deployed. He landed pretty far out, but still on airport, and refused to move for 5-10 minutes. Everything survived, but he was pretty tender still even the next weekend.

my first two tandems I didn't have any mention of it, but was carefull b/c I'm used to using climbing harnesses.
A couple days after groundschool there wasn't a second AFF instructor for me to make a jump. So I made a Tandem for my birthday instead.:):S, but hadn't remembered that part from groundschool.:o Looking around with a puzzled look on my face trying to find it he said something along the lines of, "your balls... move your balls. You'll need them later." :D:D
They'll have to add that to the groundschool. j/k

Chris, it would appear our attempts have failed! Sorry for calling you an Idiot my good man... Let's see here....

The rules are:
1) No personal attacks. None.
2) No jokes or references to pedophilia. None.
3) No advertising
4) Stick to the topics in the topical forums

Well, I don't want to resort to pedophilia just to shake the nasty image of a nut-under from my mind... to me it's a matter of the lessor of two evils.

Rules 3 and 4 have some potential here. The topic at hand is nuts under the leg strap. Everyone!!! Burger King has 99 cent whoppers on Wednesday afternoons.

LOL :D

I'm out of here, good night all.

But back on topic ...

There are many good reasons to train AFF students with a vertical harness (the ones that you can hang from and cut-away your three-ring system).

This is one of them. Better to happen in the trainer than in the air.

I had a "near miss". Was tracking off from a head down dive and felt a bit "out of place" :S so I had to do a quick rearrange to correct the problem. The thought makes my eye water! B|
