moodyskydiver 0 #1 January 28, 2003 Ok so I've been trying to wait patiently like a good little girl for my new Mirage. I emailed my gear dealer 2 weeks ago and he said he talked to Mirage;the estimated shipping date would be 1-27-03. Ok cool,I can wait that long w/o going postal. So I'm all hyped knowing my rig should have been shipped yesterday and hopefully would be at the DZ this weekend. Well I called Mirage to confirm that my baby was shipped yesterday, only to have them tell me that their computer records show it to have actually been shipped 1-17-03. WTF?! thats 11 days ago.Surely if it was shipped on the 17th it would be at the DZ by now. The dealer promised he'd call me ASAP when it was delivered. He hadnt called. So I call the DZ to see if anyone knows anything about it or has seen my baby around there somewhere. They tell me the dealer is in FL at PIA and that they havent seen anything come in since he left. They tell me that they'll find out something or have him call me.This is turning into one big cluster f**ck.So here I sit waiting to find out what in hell is going on.Where in the hell is my rig?!?! Damn!damn!damn! *sorry..venting over. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

wmw999 2,587 #3 January 28, 2003 I'd almost bet money that the original date of the 27th was the right one, and someone misread the actual ship date. A lot of the people at the manufacturer's are probably also at the PIA symposium. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
Sebazz1 2 #4 January 28, 2003 Wow what a coincidence! Some random package just showed up in my office and it's this kick ass Mirage!! It's so purty I think I'll keep it. I wonder where it came from
moodyskydiver 0 #5 January 28, 2003 I dont have a tracking #. My dealer did all the work on this.Since he paid the shipping, he has all the info and has been keeping me informed. Since hes at PIA I dont know who else to contact that'd have the #. I feel so helpless not knowing where my new baby is. "...just an earthbound misfit, I." BoobieCootie 0 #6 January 28, 2003 At least this time we can't blame it on OJ. With lots of people gone to the PIA thingy, my Diablo won't be back till next week. And my reserve deployment system too.

AggieDave 6 #11 January 29, 2003 Well, look on the bright side, though, lets say the absolute worst happened and What Brown did you was let your rig get eaten by a group of ravage midgets. You aren't responsible. If it was delievered and lost at J's shop, then you're not responsible, either.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." skybytch 273 #13 January 29, 2003 I'd call Mirage and ask politely for the tracking number. Even Florida to California by ground it shoulda been to your dealer's shop by now. Course you coulda avoided all this stress by buying from someone who wasn't going to PIA this year...

My appologies having to deal with the people there at Mirage! I sent an email about a week ago and have yet to hear a response on my looking for info on a second rig! Sizing questions! Had I called the Javelin people, I'm sure that I would have heard back the same day,PIA or not! I am in the wholesale business and am aware of national shows and can ALWAYS get an answer during shows! I am still waiting! THAT IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE![maAlthough I want to purchase a mirage, their lack of response is sending me back to a responsive manufacturer!
