jerm 0 #28 January 31, 2003 QuoteQuoteIt's a 230 sq ft. 7-cell with pretty long lines. Are we talking a round with seven cells, or square? I would have guessed round. rounds don,t in my experience, have cells. Now it's probably a round reserve in there, but who knows... r2hubert 0 #29 January 31, 2003 No! There is no reserve! It's a Base rig, I told you -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. It only functions when it's open."
Kinaa 0 #30 February 1, 2003 Quote You can see a picture of a Cloud here: 60's Jumper web page. I put ~30 jumps on Yugoslav copy (Kluz k1) of that Security Mini-Pig rig that can be seen on that page. And my first jumps was on rounds whit rig pretty much the same as the rig x-type that QuickDraw posted. Guess I'm a retro skydiver then.I'we found a pic of K1 on web so it is easy to see that is copy.
jerm 0 #31 February 1, 2003 Quote That would almost be worth buying just so you could see everyone's face when you gear up and start walking toward the plane. I have a brown 1979 wonderhog that i really wanna get repacked one of these days and go scapre some freely skygods with. Bummer is i wouldn't trust the thing in a headdown (large dirth of riser covers), and taking it to a turbine DZ would be an adventure cause of the normally sucky spots (round reserve), but i think it would be fun. bought it for $600 with a cloud lite and a 26' lopo..... 4 years ago Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time
