hookitt 1 #12 January 31, 2003 Quote That would almost be worth buying just so you could see everyone's face when you gear up and start walking toward the plane. skybytch 273 #13 January 31, 2003 I'd pay $50 for it and put it with my other musuem pieces. Someday I'm gonna have a dz; old rigs make great decorator items.
jwilson 0 #14 January 31, 2003 the add says no reserve, I wonder what's stuffed in there . What does a Strato Cloud look like ? Is it that 5 cell square . I think I might pick that up and have a couple more cells sewn on there and have me a vintage high performance parichute(would that be strato flyer) . Anyway I wont it and I think I'm gonna git it. wmw999 2,589 #15 January 31, 2003 It's a 230 sq ft. 7-cell with pretty long lines. Based on the rig, I'd say that one has a slider, and not the ropes and rings. I'm not familiar with the rig (looks like a Flat Pack reserve stuck on top of a Wonderhog-style bottom), but it's recent enough to be after sliders. QuickDraw 0 #23 January 31, 2003 These are not on ebay yet, but they may be soon. These 2 "rigs" belong to a friend of mine, the old looking one is from WWII i think, the other is (i am told) an x-type circa 1970's. -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning
wmw999 2,589 #24 January 31, 2003 Quotethe add says no reserve, I wonder what's stuffed in there It's eBay -- that means that he doesn't have a secret price above the starting price below which he doesn't have to sell it. Of course, the starting price is pretty cute. You can see a picture of a Cloud here: 60's Jumper web page.
