skreamer 1 #4 January 31, 2003 Yeah, Central Line is fucked anyway, the Highway Services 'forgot' to put salt and grit on the roads - I can really see Ken's congestion charges being a massive success....

Zeemax 0 #6 January 31, 2003 i hate when we get the wrong type of snow... i think they're normally ok as long as it isn't white and cold. You guys from the UK too? whereabouts? i'm down in Kent. What DZ's you at?Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
skreamer 1 #7 January 31, 2003 QuoteWhat DZ's you at? You sure you're not a yank?? I've jumped at Langar, Weston, Hinton, Headcorn, Sibson and Hibaldstow - will be jumping mostly at Hib this year (good altitude, good piss-ups).

skreamer 1 #9 January 31, 2003 I was there last weekend. Only one jump (2way with Chris Guntrip). Its OK, but the airfield is a bit too crowded. What I like about Hib is that the DZ is the only operation there. Also means the pub etc is DZ types only - makes things a bit easier when you run around setting your mates hair on fire etc. Hib gets '15 000 as well, other English DZs get less. Apart from Hib, Sibson rocks as well - loads of freeflyers there. How many jumps do you have, freeflyer or flat?
Zeemax 0 #10 January 31, 2003 um, none i'm just trying to get myself together to do an AFF course in florida..! but once i'm done, i want some cool DZ's to go to in the UK maybe we could hook up and go jumping or something? QuickDraw 0 #11 January 31, 2003 If you do decide to do your AFF in Florida, may i recommend Sebastian. However if your a tightass cheapskate like me Empuria Brava in Spain also rocks. http://www.skyrats.com/eng/home.htm http://www.skydiveseb.com/ -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning

Sibson because I started jumping on static line rounds in '92 and Hib because of random drunkeness involving fire engines, gaffer tape and honey. -Ben
