DivaSkyChick 0 #26 February 1, 2003 Of course, whatever makes them happy. I'm just saying, if you're best friend has that to say about you, it's time to rethink your life.... But maybe it's just a bad day? --- www.facebook.com/mandyhamptonfitch

rocketfeuille 0 #28 February 1, 2003 Seemingly one of the few married men in this forum, I would suggest that you just humbly ask for a day at the DZ. Don't bring up the car or the cost of the remote started unless she asks why you think you should get to the dropzone. If you do bring it up, simply say something like, "I was just kinda thinking that since you got a car this week (or remote starter), I might get to go jumping..." And it never hurts to say please... hope that helps...
ladyskydiver 0 #29 February 1, 2003 Hope the dinner and cocktails went well. Glad to see she finally said thank you for the Trailblazer and the remote entry. As for a day jumping or your new jumpsuit or whatever...you just spent mega bucks on her. If you can afford it, tell her that "Honey...I'm glad you like your new toys. I'm going to the DZ tomorrow and ordering my new jumpsuit." She should not complain in any way, shape or form. If she says something about "do we have the money?" just make sure that you can calm her fears about that and go jump.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.
Dumpster 0 #30 February 1, 2003 We had nice evening, ladies and gentlemen - Right now I have coffee brewing, and she is still sound asleep. She likes to sleep in on Saturdays. I haven't breached the subject of of any new equipment, but I doubt it will be a problem. Are you going to the DZ today, lady? Easy Does It
