freeflir29 0 #1 January 31, 2003 Z Hills was a blast!! Slightly chilly during my visit but got warmer every day. Made some sweet jumps. Chased a rodeo consisting of JRAF and a cute chick named Andrea. (No not THE Andrea...another one.) Nice and stable.....even got in a dock!! Did a couple more jumps with some French Canuks. They smelled funny but they skydive OK. In fact AL and I had my BEST jump while I was there. I was riding to alti just going to do a solo because I couldn't find anyone to jump with (It can be tough there during the week days) so Al asked me to come along. He was planning on a solo so he could work on some differen't leg positions. I chased him out and just set up in front of him. Got bored so I started carving.....LIKE A ROCKET!!! It was Soooooo sweet. Al saw what I was doing and started spining the other direction.....it was beautiful. Stopped after two rotations and gave him double peace signs before break off. Tracked away....dumped....fired a brake on opening....no big deal...rear risered it and straightened it out. Rode in brakes until everyone else had landed and then RIPPED a NASTY carve from about 700Ft. Came screaming in and got the loooong double toe drag!!! What a sweet jump. I won't mention the jump the day before where I DESTROYED my camera. AGAIN!!!! Second time in 3 months... It was my fault......I goofed up a Spock on Al and pushed him over backwards causing his knee to cork into my camera. Oh well...I need a Sony anyway....Partyed with Stacy, JRAF, and Galen Saturday night. I won't mention the video I have of JRAF IN the swoop ditch. Also did a jump with "APOIL" who happens to be a pretty BAD ASS free flyer. Thanks for the jump Dude! That was nice video!!! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
