Speeds do pack small too. Got a Speed 135 in a container that had an R-Max 138. I don't think anyone has been able to accurately measure out how much more bulky colored fabrics are but I think the general consensus is that it does pack marginally smaller... Marginally. Whether dye makes a difference to pack volume or not, it's worth remembering that people still typically associate white with reserve canopies - so it's easier for someone to identify you after a cutaway.
