Pablito 0 #1 February 5, 2003 It was good. I learned a lot about a few things. Different ways to pack reserve parachutes by Tom from SunPath, Nancy from Jump Shack, and the most amazing technique by Ty Bowen from RWS. I'm still shocked how good he is at it. Then in Max Cohn's freefly forum, I learned about different ways to be safer doing FF on a day-to-day basis. In safety and training, Olav Zipzer and Estefania gave really good tips. Most of the forum was concerning safety (thank you, guys). Norman Kent was incredible. He never told us his settings, but I believe his idea was to let us experiment and learn from trying and getting more involved (taught us how to fish, didn't gave us the fish). Scott Miller and Bushman rocked in the fast way to inspect and pack a canopy. They never stopped talking, but the info they gave out was really good and valuable. Bill Booth rocks. He is so funny, and made me crack up laughing so many times...telling stories about how they come up with tandem jumping at lunch time, then stories of his life. Thanks Bill. I sat at Strong's chat about tandem. Impressive! They where nuts. Really interesting. Brian Germain's canopy control class was really good. He gave so many good tips for flying and teaching that I couldn't believe it...although I answered one of his questions wrong (I was half asleep - good party on Wednesday night). John Leblanc had a really good forum, but it was the same thing that PD has on their website about wingloading. However, in person, he made it easier to understand. Rags Ragety from PD - he sews like a bat out of hell! Wow! He did a regular patch in approximately 45 mins and then a complex patch in 40 mins and built 2 small cells in about 5 minutes. He is good at it. Thanks for sharing your little tricks. The show was good. Bonehead with new helmets. Atair with new canopies. Parachute de France with all their gear (interesting things). Parasport Italia Theresa, Paolos - Thanks guys, RWS Mark, Rosi - you where good. Thanks for the party :).....and I'm still thinking ....Sunpath Aggie, Thomas. Tom - Thanks! Wild rig you guys have there. Go Fast provided free energy drinks (thanks for the case). Wings had little models walking around with balloons and small back packs giving prizes away. Cypress had milk chocolate (yummy). SSK had many gadgets everywhere. Mirage systems had their G3 and G4 to show. PD didn't have any new designs, but they are still the best. They never said that they were working on something new, but they are always doing so. Kolla, Gillian (I miss you), Audrey, Kevin, Scott and Bushman answered questions and talked to people about their products. The final banquet was really good, nice service and warm food, free wine :). Parties were great. MonoUno, was an animal, Eric Butts too and the rest as well. Dan, Jenie, Marcelo, Sandra, Ts, etc. - Wow! what a great time. Rdutch 0 #10 February 6, 2003 All I saw at the Bonehead exibit was mostly military, but they did have a new camerahelmet, top mount I liked a lot. I also didn't look too much because it was packed with people and I didn't want to wait. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
skygod7777 0 #11 February 6, 2003 i went over the new camera helmet with chris. it's basically a flat top pro, with a non removable top plate, and only has room for like 1 camera on top, maybe, and that's a BIG MAYBE, 2 cameras, like 2 pc cameras. it still has the front L bracket for a still, and all the features of the flat top. later

Pablito was a baaad boy. heehee Thanks to T for having us over to her house warming party, but for some reason late in the evening I lost Pablito. Where could he have gone? I was cranky from not getting any sleep but the week ended great with some cool skydives at SDJAX with the girls from Airzone Extreme. Thanks to the DZO for putting me up in a tent for the weekend. All in all, a good time was had by all. Bryan Team Atair Team Gravity Rats
