Buckets!

As in it's coming down in buckets! It's raining cats and dogs!

There's some mighty big drops coming down, making some mighty big splashes in Lake Parking Lot, which is draining into Lake Indian Street via the Driveway River.

Rumor has it we got inches and inches of rain yesterday - like half our normal annual rainfall in one day - and it appears we may beat that with today's downpours.

Wait, what am I saying? It never rains in southern California!

Maybe you are. I'll be sitting at home waiting for Half Ass the landlord to come fix my leaking roof and refix the plumbing he supposedly fixed last week. Boy, this is gonna be fun. I'm gonna tell him to FIX the roof this time - don't just put a tarp over the problem area, but actually FIX it. And replace the destroyed acoustic tile in the bathroom too.

I guess I should just be happy I already got my 2 1/2 jumps in for February. (1/2 jump - I did a tandem with someone getting their rating.)

Its a winter goal to make at least 1 jump a month so I'm 1 1/2 ahead of my goal.

I do have the South of the Border Boogie to look forward to in March.

Hey , What about the creature under the house ? Did you figure out what it was? If not maybe you should ask the landlord to check that out last . That way everything else is done and it won't matter if the thing under the house eats him. Ya Know.

It's been raining here for about three weeks now. It's sooooooooo wonderful.
Sure, I get all dirty jumping, but it does make it interesting in the showers...did I say that out loud???

Its supposed to rain across much of TX for the next 3-4days. I hate gloomy weather..puts me in a bad mood.Oh well,I'll just have to go find something to keep me occupied.

Damn....someone should put a DZ where I am. It snowed a tiny bit last week. They said it was going to rain today. They were lying. A few clouds early and then beautiful blue by afternoon. I think it was 65 or 70. Now...all I need is an airplane, rig, and camera helmet.
