Anyone flown with an ETicket lately?

Recommended Posts

the new procedures here in texas (i fly out of Austin-Bergstrom a lot) you have to take all your bags to the counter with your e-ticket where they'll give you your boarding passes. they weigh your checked baggage, then you take it to a great big humoungous x-ray machine, by then you don't see them again, and you can't lock anything, they'll tear your suitcase up, or cut your locks off. your carry ons are subject to x-ray and full blown dumping out and going through each, and every item, it's just no fun anymore, and i fear it's only going to get worse. good luck.

They have seperate lines fot the Eticket bagage. Each terminal basically prints out the sticker and a guy walks up slaps it on your bag and then it goes through that airports security measures.

I've flown from 3 airports and there has only been a line at 1 (DFW) and it was only 2 people deep. Regular boarding passes still have that 30 person deep line.

I flew on an eticket last month- All I needed was my drivers' license and a credit card- I just went inside to the kiosk then checked my bags- No sweat. (O'Hare-) Then I slammed three expensive but very tasty Bloody Marys and slept through takeoff and all but the last ten minutes of the flight. Landing in an airplane sucks.
