Going to DeLand in March

Yup, I'll be on vacation the first week of March and I'm heading to sunny Orlando, I'm going to JUMP the whole week, finish my AFF (I'm currently in level 4) and see if I can also get my 'A' license. Would that be possible in one week?

i'm sure it's possible. it just depends if your ready to fork out some extra cash to do it. or maybe you won't have to put out the extra cash, but i think my dz wants a bit extra for something like that because they aren't open on monday's and tuesdays usally.

but i'm not sure about deland. they are open every day of the week.

if you wanted, you could get your "B" in one week..... teams at DeLand keep the planes turning. Student training there is first rate, too.

I won't bad-mouth them on the forums, but Deland has been nothing but trouble for me. Every time I go there, we don't jump. But on the bright side, I usually (except last weekend) get to see Skymama!

As long as the weather is good, you shouldn't have any problem getting your A in a week. I'm not usually there on weekdays, but I will be around on the weekend. Let me know if you'll be there on the weekend and I'll be sure to say hi.

Don't listen to Brian about Deland. We put up about 40 loads between the Skyvan and Otter on Saturday and it was a beautiful day. Did Brian come out then, even though he had the day off? Noooooooo! Did he come on the day that had a forecast of 80% rain, and the other dz that he called wasn't flying either? Yessssssss!

Delands been getting the Porters up alot during the week. You should be able to accomplish your goals. Good luck Ill probably see you there.

Hey Skymama, we might meet, I'll be arriving Mar 01 by 10am, I might go to DeLand in the afternoon (after picking up the car), but, for sure, I'll be there Sun Mar 02, and the rest of the week, on Sat Mar 08, I'll be at SkyVenture (I hope) and returning home the following day.

BUSY...BUSY...BUSY!!!, I just want to finish my training, get my license and get ready for summertime, NEW JERSEY WILL HAVE A NEW SKYDIVER!!!
