I've actually been very lucky. Other than a sore ankle, I had a downwinder on my 3rd or 4th static line in which I broke my nose, and ripped my lower lip loose from my gums inside my mouth.

Used Lidocaine jell for about a month, and everytime it wore off it just puckered my asshole! Healed up nicely in the long run, and since it was all internal I don't even have a scar!

Strained my right knee and ankle on landing. Not too badly though.

The worst? My leg - shattered tibial plateau... OUCH! Other victims? 2 broken ribs; 1 broken thumb; bruised lung; nerve damage in arm (since healed); trauma to stomach, diaphragm and intestines; sliced tongue; and scraped up a leg pretty bad on a night jump gone wrong (but still incredibly fun).

Still... skydiving is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Did you land off, if not was the dz light when this happened? This ties in with another thread in the general forum and I'm curious.
