(3 died) click on the link and check out the picture! SOMERSET, Kentucky (AP) -- A twin-engine plane crashed on approach to a small airport, killing three of seven people on board, police said. The dead in Sunday night's crash were the pilot, another man and an 8-year-old boy. The boy's mother and three siblings were injured. There were low clouds and low visibility as the Cessna 421 approached the Somerset airport, said Mark Jarvis, a forecaster for the National Weather Service in Jackson. There was no snow or freezing rain at the time, he said. The mother, Mia Zetter, 35, was in intensive care Monday at the University of Tennessee Hospital at Knoxville. The hospital said she was in stable condition but gave no detail. The children were in good condition Monday at Lake Cumberland Hospital, hospital spokeswoman Susan Ramsey Wilson said. The pilot was Shalabh Agarwal, 32, of Valparaiso, Indiana, Pulaski County Coroner Richard New said. Also killed was Joseph A. Maglish, 41, of Crown Point, Indiana. The names of Zetter's children were not immediately released. The 8-year-old who died was one of a set of triplets. Surviving were the other two 8-year-olds and a 10-year-old. riddler 0 #4 February 18, 2003 For you pilots/FAA type experts: How long, on average, does it typically take to get the official accident report, and is that report publicly available and easy to access? I hate the initial reports that infer that such-n-such was probably the cause, without stipulating that it is not official.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. Hooknswoop 19 #5 February 18, 2003 http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/AccList.asp?month=2&year=2003 Aas you can see, it takes at least 5 days usually for the prelim report to get posted. It can take longer than that, easily. Hook
