flyangel2 2 #9 February 18, 2003 Quote Ok ..........the little shit just pissed on the floor. I still love him though. I spanked his butt and put him outside. Oh no, don't spank him. Studies have shown that they can't make the connection as to why they are being spanked and doing their thing in the house. (kinda like when you are potty training a child, would you spank him/her?) The best way to train a puppy is to take them outside alot, and when they do their thing, make sure to give them lots of praise. It's your responsibility to get them outside enough. If you are the type that isn't home a lot, get a kennel and put the puppy in that during your away time. There is tons of information that you can check out at PetSmart.com. Good luck and enjoy the puppy.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
