Another safety day donw the tubes!

Recommended Posts

DAMN I always Miss safety day.

3 years now and i havent been able to attend any
even though I am current and we practice safety everyday I would like to check these out. unfortunatley I will be driving back form Texas that day!>:(

so just as I did last year...lets talk safety here now.
anyone got any concerns after not being able to jump this winter?
you dont have to wiat until march 9th to talk safety.

1---hmm Lets make sure all your (slider) grommets aren't spurred so they wont catch your lines. (I know this is almost an non existing problem due to link covers and soft links )

2---make sure they are TIGHTLY installed. they SHOULDN'T be loose but check em anyway, same goes for your pilot chute link

3---make sure you closing loop is in good condition make sure you handles are secured tight enough by the velcro

4---flaps, are they gonna stay closed?

of course there are the cirlce of 3's!
MORE importantly you may wanna cut your main and massage your three rings webbing. those things can get a MEMORY . you dont want that if you need to cutaway make sure it is nice and loose.

well thats my babble for now! you added verbage (as simple as it may seem to you) can save someones ass!

Due to the Aggieland Padre Island boogie, I think we're going to be conducting safety day a week early, if you'd like to attend one (and drink some beer, and eat a Freebirds burrito).
