flyingferret 0 #1 February 18, 2003 Hey everybody, Last friday I purchased all new gear, Wings container, PDR, and Hornet canopy. The Wings was in stock had most of the options I wanted. Heather had been awesome in helping me with choosing the rig. She sent me pics, colors swatches, etc. So I added a few more and placed the order through Rigs and Things. Roll around to today. Heather sent an email saying that they confirmed my order, and the rig was mine. One snag: the rig had a few jumps on it, less than 10. Heather asked if that was okay with me. I responded that it was, but if someone famous had jumped it or they wanted to knock a buck or two off, it would not hurt my feelings. Due to speed of delivery and the pristine condition of the rig, a jump or two under their supervision did not bother me. Heater responded with QuoteHello, I talked to Roy at Rigs and Things about the price. We figure all things will be equal since we won't be charging for switching over the PC and PC handle, cutaway handle, or for switching from thread-thrus to B-12's. If we're doing those modifications for free, we'll just keep the price as is. (If you didn't need any modifications to it we would knock a few bucks off the price of the rig) :-) Sound fair? I have your order form and measurements so we just need to make the new parts for the rig and then we'll send it to Roy ASAP. (should be just a couple of days!) blue skies! Heather How cool is that?! Of course I told her that was fine with me, and a big thanks. So thanks to Wings for killer customer service, thanks to Rigs and Things for awesome prices, and thanks to all you forum members for recommending Wings.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI. flyingferret 0 #3 February 18, 2003 Royal Blue. I probably would have had neon yellow mudflaps if I customed it, but for stock, I am very happy.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

blewaway5 0 #5 February 18, 2003 Nice looking rig. Also, next time you send Heather an email you can tell her there's at least one skydiver who is firmly convinced. Next time I have a rig to buy I'll go through her. I've seen all kinds of advertisements for all kinds of companies, but the absolute best I've heard is the word of mouth coming from people like you. Due to threads here and AggieDave's rig and advice, I chose Wings.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

skreamer 1 #9 February 18, 2003 I emailed Heather recently asking about riser inserts for my Wings (bought 2 years ago from Rigs n Things). Less than ten days later the inserts arrived at my home in London - free of charge. I fitted them - less than a week later I had to cutaway because of line-twists. Pretty good timing methinks... My next rig will be another Wings and I will definitely be buying from Roy again.
