Kris 0 #3 February 20, 2003 Too true. I just edited the hell out of my post as it could be construed as advertising, but the link is worth the read! KrisSky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
AggieDave 6 #4 February 20, 2003 You're not on staff with them, so it's just an excited announcement. That's about the only difference that I've seen for getting the hot fork. I know a few people who are going to be pretty excited about this. Any news on the Crossbraced-Airlock yet?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." jose 0 #10 February 20, 2003 A couple of bright orange cells near the outsides and 1 for the center cell. Great contrast.
SkySlut 0 #11 February 20, 2003 Apparently his new airlocked/crossbraced canopy should be out shortly and the price of that is going to be cheeper than a velocity. I would really like to get my paws on something like that....
BikerBabe 0 #12 February 20, 2003 Yep...the ****** (as Phree calls it) will be out soon! It looks f-in cool, too. I love my Jedei...I was going to wait for a new canopy, but those prices are tempting.... no! must....resist....temptation.....urgh!Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! mattb 0 #13 February 20, 2003 Hmmmmm New job started Tuesday with much better $$ potential. Jumps for the year paid for (at least the first 100) I sense a new canopy
riddler 0 #14 February 20, 2003 Quotewhat do you guys think of these designs? I like the first one better - has more character. The Lotus will probably be my next canopy - it's the nicest one I've flown so far.
PhreeZone 20 #15 February 20, 2003 Change the Airlock color to be different then the cells. My Jedei has all blue airlocks and white, blue and black cells and it looks really cool Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Cajones 0 #16 February 20, 2003 Okay Phree... Time to let the cat out of the bag. It's called the "Sensei" - and no it isn't named after me. Great job on the video. I can see a little "tweaking" that I like over the prerelease. Soon, you'll be knocking on the door at Lucasarts with Deuce. Just remember to send some work my way. PhreeZone 20 #17 February 20, 2003 I was'nt about to burst Brians bubble again with the name getting picked up by another company.... but I SO want a Sensei. Tell Brian to put me on the demo list once he gets one built. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
sdctlc 0 #18 February 20, 2003 Brian makes a awesome canopy. I jumped a jedi for a short time a number of years ago and recently purchased a spanky new Signature Series Samurai and it is everything he promised it would be! VERY NICE! I would be interested in jumping the new ***** canopy when the tweeking is done but am very happy with the Samurai. He is dropping the prices but I think that is the sale price plus options. I cant imagine him selling them cheaper than that...... Its a very good deal at less than $1500 Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!" Cajones 0 #19 February 20, 2003 There is some tweaking before production (mostly cosmetic - to give it the Big Air look), but it'll be made available soon. AirLoco (Brian) is already working on some new ideas. He's the ultimate canopy "mad scientist." He's getting pretty focused on his canopy flight seminars and training camps. Selling canopies doesn't pay the bills (especially when you knock the price down where everyone can afford one), so he doesn't have the time he'd like to spend in the secret labratory.
