bobsled92 0 #26 February 20, 2003 Granted it was limited in seeing that. The subject here is in question is being met with self rightous agruments rather than solutions. I have great respect for ALL until they prove to me that I should not. If the "END of the WORLD" does come, it will be slow, long and grueling for all of us (like Disco rather than instant nuke vapor). "The last World War" (not Civil War) I hope we don't go to War but, I will protect & serve God and Country. It is effecting all of us but we stand so divided. I just wish ANYone ELSE would be speak for us as a Nation(after asking US=vote over War,maybe?)_______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/
billvon 3,120 #27 February 20, 2003 >War protaganist are just as irritating, but when the peace >demonstrators are rioting for peace and distructing property is > appalling. I agree. Ironically, one place that there was a lot of tension was in NY, a place that saw a protest of 100,000 people. The primary reason there was tension is that they all had to congregate in a very small area - the Bush administration asked the city of NY to deny them a permit to march. When the police started trying to keep people away from the protest, they formed new protests at the bottlenecks. In several places police got knocked over by the sheer volume of people packed into a few blocks.

I did see one "national socialist" (read: nazi) hanging on a streetlight footing protesting something but his sign was a bit enigmatic, something along the lines of "socialists behind iraq!" There were also several radical feminists with signs like "down with the administration, up with the matriarchy."

A good leader like Bush or Blair does what's in the best interest of the country regardless of public opinion. They are privy to intel that you and I are not. Iraq must be in compliance with 1441 or the real meaning of UN is the united nothing. And friends I lost in the Gulf war died in vain
bodypilot90 0 #31 February 20, 2003 I liked the must1 sign. I hate war. Lost some good friends and a couple uncles. A few of my co workers still are suffering from what ever gas/nerve agent he (Hussian) used on our guys. But sometimes you got to do what needs to be done. Iraq has prolly 2 weeks to come clean. Anyone want to bet a few jump tickets on it.
