He just called us to tell us that he is being shipped out tomorrow!!! for the middle east. The Airman, Soldiers, Seaman, or Marines who are now deployed are not fighting for some poor Iraqi child, who's leader has starved them, but more fore their buddy. If you don't look out for your friends then you have nothing. What do you have? A parachute and some free fly jumps because no one else will jump with you? Realize the person next to you on the jump plane amy not be there next weekend because they are deployed to Kuwait. If it where not for this person then you would probably not be jumping. My post was just stating that WE say god bless us, THEY say the same etc. In WWII the Germans had "Gott mit uns" engraved on their belt buckles, 150,000 of them remained dead at Stalingrad. Most our soldiers fallen in Normandy and the Pacific islands prayed to god too. I jump with my friends who serve in the armed forces. IN fact, my husband is an atheist and would quite openly agree with his comment instead of being insulted. Not everyone believes in God....and the country we are going to war with believes in Allah and believe me...they are praying to him daily...probably a lot more than we are praying to our God. IN fact, I believe the whole middle east shuts down a few times a day just so they can kneel on their prayer mats and pray. I want him to come home safe. If you believe in a belevelant God who cares for our safety and well-being and you would be willing to say an extra prayer for him, his name is Aaron Jansen.
