miked10270 0 #3 February 27, 2003 Here's another... Take a 3 digit number, any 3 digit number as long as the first & last digits are different. Reverse it, so now you have two 3 digit numbers. Subtract the smaller 3 digit number from the larger one & express the answer as a 3 digit number. Reverse this new number so you have two 3 digit numbers. Add these two 3 digit numbers together and the result is ALWAYS 1089. EG#1: 123 reversed becomes 321. 321 minus 123 = 198. 198 reversed is 891. 198 + 891 = 1089 EG#2: 332 reversed is 233. 332 minus 233 = 99 so express it as 099. 099 reversed is 990. 099 + 990 = 1089.
