RevJim 0 #1 March 5, 2003 I'm still considering changing my internet provider to our new local, run by the city wireless, and was looking at their web page and came across this.... 192 feet. Not a delay, but is it high enough at all.... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
RevJim 0 #3 March 5, 2003 Nice thread. I don't really look over there, since I am not, at this time, a BASE jumper, nor do I intend to act like one. This little baby just happened to catch my eye, and it's 4 blocks from my house....It's your life, live it! Push 0 #6 March 6, 2003 Isn't that how it always starts? Def'n: History. History can be summarized by the following phrase: "it seemed like a good idea at the time". -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.
RevJim 0 #7 March 6, 2003 Quote What are you waiting for? I mean....what's the worst thing that could happen? FYI: Out of curiousity (yea, that's it, curiousity ) I drove back by to get a better look at it. In fact, I drove right to the base of it. You know, it probably wouldn't be too bad, if it wan't for those 40 to 60 foot mature oaks around 3/4ths of the base of it, the water tower right next to it, and the fact that the only clear path to the ground is the gravel road leading through the trees up to it, which by the way, wouldn't have enough open space in the summer to swoop a sub 70 VX. Anyone feel like clearing some trees? I mean, sheez, this baby overlooks town, from withing the city limits. It's on a hill that adds a few hundred feet to the height. Too bad it's not useable. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
