I WANT THIS CAR!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Headache rack. The ones I remember don't look ANYTHING like that pic, Dave. To me a headache racks is and always will be those things that guys who build houses and shit (y'know, like Evan from Joe Millionaire) have on their trucks; the racks that go from the cab to the tailgate and you can put an 8 foot ladder on. That is a headache rack.

That thing you posted? Not a headache rack.

I'm pretty drunk now so I don't remember who posted the next fallacy that I aim to debunk, but anyway. Gun racks go inside the rear window, not outside. Duh.

Obnoxious tonight? I am not. And if I am? It's all Deuce's fault. He's the one who was an hour (read three beers) late and then bought the Sapporo's with the sushi, dammit.

The attached pics are of trucks that my brother was a big part of building - he designs and fabricates chassis' and suspensions on "hot rod" trucks for BobCo of Lake Elsinore, California. He also worked for Cal T Components and California Street Rods in the past. There's more cool pics of stuff he's done here.

I don't brag about him often, but as these pics prove - my bro is damn good at what he does.:) yellow1.jpg

actually, a headache rack was originally those big-assed things you see on the back of a tractor (as in tractor trailer) with all the chains and stuff hanging off of it. you usually find them on trucks pulling flatbeds and their purpose is to keep a load of steel or lumber from coming through the back of the cab. If I could get a "play" car, it would be something like this ...

The Pontiac GTO from the movie xXx. *drool*

I have a '67 GOAT that I paid 400.00 for in 1975, a senior in high school.
Drove it for a few years, then parked it in the barn at my folks place back in the midwest.
One of the better investments I ever made...last year some yuppie offered 10,000 for it...
it's a nice car but not nearly a 'cherry'
There is a '69 Z28 parked next to it...Mr.yuppie acted like the Camaro was on par with a Yugo!
Go Pontiac!!!
( The GTO was designed by John DeLorean by the way..)

I didn't know that! What a fine piece of information, for me to store away in my random triva section of my brain.

Actually, yeah, I do so I can. That's something I've been wanting to do for a while. Just don't have the $$ to get the tools I need to make what I want to make (although it would be a simple task to make it, simple, but time consuming).
