skybytch 273 #3 March 6, 2003 Ummm... you forgot an option in the poll. Y'know, for those of us on the West Coast. Who will still be working at 5pm EST.
Sebazz1 2 #4 March 6, 2003 Preparing for safety day on Saurday. I have a lot of work to do. Diagrams, graphs, charts, handouts, powerpoint presentations, etc... Oh and I need to grab some beer at the store too...What's this about a speach on TV?
lizzieb 0 #5 March 6, 2003 yep...i'll be working still...although we have these monitors in the hallways that usually televise things like this. we'll all probably crowd around and watch. it's a good excuse to take a break...and the bosses usually approve. jumpergirl 0 #6 March 6, 2003 My option isn't there... I'll be driving home from a long day at work... to take my poor puppy to the vet. Even if I was at home, with nothing else to do but watch TV, I don't think I would watch it anyway. I wait and read about what's going on the world here... at dz.com!!! sarge 0 #15 March 6, 2003 A:>Dear Strong Bad, I have some cold ones and an inclination to shave my dogs butt tonite. I hear the pres is looking for some attention, but I can't muster any interest in hearing his unintelligible ravings. Should I shave my dogs butt or catch the re-cap later? rgoper 0 #17 March 6, 2003 59% will be drinking beer, 25% will be watching the speech when i came in. (that's when you know everyone wants to be informed by their commander and chief) i'll be watching, then i'm sure i'll go and hurl, or laugh hell maybe wind up crying.--Richard-- "We Will Not Be Shaken By Thugs, And Terroist"
freakshow 0 #18 March 6, 2003 I'll be attending my last(thank God) physics lab of the quarter. I'm sure they have a wonderful fun filled evening for us tonight. The labs up till this week have been completely meaningless and an utter waste of time. But it will probably be better then the speech. B.L. quade 4 #24 March 7, 2003 Actually, President Bush spoke quite well. He gave a brief summary of recent events and why he didn't think that fulfilled 1441, then took questions from reporters according to a predetermined plan by which all the major networks and newspapers would get in at least one question. Whether you agree with his stance on Iraq or not, he gave a pretty good press conference and looked Presidential doing it. No major gaffs and not too goofy. I -personally- would have liked him to cut out any religious references, because I don't think that's helpful when he can be pretty certain that Saddam is watching, but it wasn't too overboard and I'm sure the President thought it was a comfort to the people of the United States.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
mouth 0 #25 March 7, 2003 Thank you for the update, Paul. I like your version much better than having to watch the whole thing. I don't have time to turn on my TV. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
