SkymonkeyONE 4 #1 March 10, 2003 Well, I just got an e-mail from my old lady saying that dropzone.com has been blocked from their system "until further notice." The poor thing! Anyway, cease sending her PM's because she can't get to them. Anyone wanting to send condolences can still reach her at her work address: katie.sellATkuwaitDOTarmyDOTmil (symbols written out to prevent un-needed spam) I talk to her every other day on the phone, or at least did until yesterday, so I can post things of interest on her behalf for the time being. cheers, Chuck
SkydiveMonkey 0 #2 March 10, 2003 I think it would be better that one person send her the interesting stuff, so she don't get it 5 times in a row ____________________ Say no to subliminal messages

freeflir29 0 #5 March 10, 2003 That REALLY sucks. Don't they know that this site is a last bastion of sanity for skydivers that aren't able to skydive. We should all write our congressmen about this one!

rhino 0 #7 March 10, 2003 If she has a computer at home she can VPN in from home.. Leave a ping open to her work network. And then remote into home from work. Get in that way..
PhreeZone 20 #8 March 10, 2003 I don't see the Military leaving ports for VPN's open on networks located in and near potential battlegrounds. And unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing you leave yourself in a very vurnerable spot for hackers. I've caught more then one misconfigured VPN in my days on computers. Chuck, is Katie on Lisa webpage yet?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
