Recommended Posts

Take of Thursday and come to SDC and jump...The weather says 41 and partly cloudy so thats good and there is a tandem at 12:30 so thats good too. I just turned in a request for time off and you should too.

Things went pretty awesome yesterday at the DZ. GinandJuice got to do her tandem and has been cleared to go to AFP if she wishes:)
They were solos out of the cessna (BEER!) from about 11grand. 1st jump I watched GinandJuice and her TM Kirk fall away for 10 seconds before I leaped out into the below freezing temps and, after a long layoff, busted into a sit. While in the sit fly I did some left and right turns and then tried a cartwheel. I actually stayed stable back in the sit.

My second jump was just like the first but I went head-down for 2-3 seconds which made me pretty happy and the landings on both jumps were perfect on my hornet 150 loaded at 1.3:1 w/ all of the cold weather gear. It's too bad no one made it out...

LMAO @ Chris!! Well Tomas I'm debating. Okay I'll be there...Praying I stick my landings so I won't get my new freefly pants dirty (They should arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. The suspense is killing me.) Dude, we gotta do a jump or two!

Chris

Edit: 10AM

i know you are jokin, but if it was a jump thing, Chris, i'd go to sdc...but my jumping this saturday independent of conditions is a big maybe at best because of rig stuff. So, I'd rather drive 40 min instead of an hr and a half if I don;t know if I will get to jump....but I will be at SDC more often this year....

I'm talking about going to Hinckley dude.:P

Chris

Too many Chris's! LOL....now I've got them confused...... [Dr. Evil pose]

Yah, Hinckley is just down the road (30 minutes from me in Naperville) and 45-50 minutes for me to SDC. I definitely would like to jump Hinckley more often this year too.

Oh, and it was nice of Skydive Arizona to advertise Hinckley's website address in the latest issue of Parachutist. Take a look. Page 58.
