bodypilot90 0 #1 March 2, 2003 Gianni made it here from Panama. He was a little upset cause back home they made him deploy his reserve (on the ground) before boarding the plane. The lady thought he looks like a terrorists and might try jumping from the jet. He does look a little like DB Cooper :) I took him to the dz and hope to jump with him tomorrow

BTW am i supposed to know who that is?
wmw999 2,593 #3 March 2, 2003 It's Drenaline - he was the one who was worried about having to dump his reserve. That sucks. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. AggieDave 6 #4 March 2, 2003 That does suck! Atleast he made it with his rig, though. I'm sure a rigger on the DZ would be more then happy to help him out, to get him back in the air though. Hell, maybe they'll even cut him a deal on the repack with his story...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." FallRate 0 #5 March 2, 2003 I just flew Southwest to Florida and back. Carried on my rig in a gear bag both ways and security didn't even ask me to open it. I've never thought of myself as lucky before. I also went up to the skydeck of the Sears tower during my switch in Chicago and you have to go through security there. A sign read "all bags will be searched", but they didn't search it. Unfortunately I couldn't find access to the roof. FallRate
drenaline 0 #6 March 14, 2003 ROFLMAO!!! hey Bill thanks for the DB Cooper! People here at panama are less than ignorants, I couldn't make her understand that I can't jump out of a jet I even explained what the USPA, FAA and TSA said about carrying a rig in the plane, but like I said those 2 womens are less than stupid, they don't even deserve the title of stupid ignorants. The funniest thing, (the one thing that made me laugh and not kill her in the airport) was that she didn't want me to carry the rig not because the cypres looks like a bomb but because she thought that I was going to jump from the 737. I kinda over reacted (I was worst than angry) and instead of just opening the main (they were very very ignorants, so they might of let me pass with a open main) I poped the reserve, yeah I know in the plane I was thinking how stupid I was Well everything came out fine, I paid full price for the reserve repack, maybe I could of paid less if I would of talked and tried to convince the rigger to charge me less but it wasn't his fault so I didn't even tried, ya know riggers have to eat Hey Bill sorry I coulnd't jump with ya, the Search kept us busy all days at all times. If everything goes well, next year I will be there again and jump with ya.========================== "I confess, I am an addict! a Tunnel addict that is!" -drenaline Panamenian 4-way Team Pandemonium www.panamafreefall.com

I had such a great time that on the last 2 days you could see me with a sad very sad face on the dz and it was because everything was comming to an end, I had the greatest time of my life in sebastian, and I am comming back. The food at the Zoo bar was great, the service in the drop shop was excellent, the ladies at manifest had a nice sexy voice that everytime I heard her it made my day great, the packers always made sure you had your gear ready for the next load (some openings where great and spanky ), the jump pilot always tried to get us to open skies, and and and and... So many great things that I have no idea how to tell them all For the first time in my life I know what I want to do for the rest of it and is skydiving! ==================================== "I confess, I am an addict! a Tunnel addict that is!" -drenaline Panamian 4-way team Pandemonium www.panamafreefall.com
