brucewayne 0 #1 March 16, 2003 and what is your favorite? c-182 twin bonaza twin otter & super skyvan & super caravan & grand king air hot air balloon a-star helicopter I would have to say I like the exit on the skyvan the best. Lots of different and fun stuff you can do. I look forward to all the other aircraft that I haven't jumped yet!!
sfc 1 #3 March 16, 2003 So far Cessna, 182 & 2something Cessna caravan Skyvan Otter Casa King air TurboLet 410 The case and skyvan are fun for the rear exit, I've only jumped those on special occasions. The otters and turbolet are great because they have a huge door to lanch out of and they go slower than the king air. The King air rocks cause it gets to altitude so damn fast and our pilot rocks. The caravan is cool 'cause its the most comfortable, has a big door and slow jump run. An the little cessnas are quiet and you can get some zzz's on the way to altitude if they are not too full. Hard to pick the best they all have good points, I'd probably choose the otter and the king air.
Lolie 0 #4 March 16, 2003 Yeah, this has been done a few times... I must say though, I liked jumping the helicopter much more than the skyvan... maybe I just need to try some cooler exits from the skyvan. It does have potential to be really fun. -Miranda you shall above all things be glad and young / For if you're young, whatever life you wear it will become you;and if you are glad / whatever's living will yourself become. jerm 0 #12 March 17, 2003 Cessna182 Cessna185 Cessna180 Cessna Caravan Skyvan Casa Otter King Air Mullins King Air C130 Balloon Bell412 Helo Jetranger Helo Alouette Helo DC4 For small stuff, mullins is wonderful cause of the climb rate, altitude, spotting, etc... After that is the skyvan.. it's a tailgate and faster than most anything but mullins (at least Crosskeys and AZ skyvans). Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time
