skybytch 273 #1 March 18, 2003 The California Coastal Records Project is an aerial photographic survey of the entire coast of California. If you love the coast, you'll love this website. On a more personal note, the first attached pic shows where I lived from '86 until '93 - the town is San Simeon. The second shows a parking area at Moonstone Beach in Cambria that holds many, many memories for me...

AggieDave 6 #4 March 18, 2003 I bet the all those tree huggers are pretty pissed about the big arrow, though... --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
jessd 0 #5 March 18, 2003 Thanks for posting this. I was out in California last September and drove down the coast. I fell in love with it. Especially the area around Big Sur. skybytch 273 #7 March 18, 2003 Yup, the Big Sur area is one of the most beautiful places in the world... that's one of the things I miss most about living up there.
jessd 0 #8 March 18, 2003 Quotethe Big Sur area is one of the most beautiful places in the world I haven't been to that many places. I did go to Hawaii (just Oahu) last June and I enjoyed the coast of Big Sur more than that. I'm hoping to get back out there within the next year. Until then I will just continue looking at all my pictures. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."
