kiltboy 0 #1 March 19, 2003 As a few people have commented on a wish to see happier thoughts I'd like to share mine. I'm now current again as of last weekend as I'd not jumped since Thanksgiving. The weather has only improved here in New England and today was no exception. Warm, no wind and clear blue skies. Half way through the week and I'll be jumping again Saturday. Sebazz1 2 #2 March 19, 2003 The fact that you posted that you jumped today and I could not myself jump usually would illicit rising blood pressure, a red face, and clenched knuckles. But! And I say But! Since it was your first since Thanksgiving and your first this year I say.........ENJOY THAT BEER YOU JUST BOUGHT BROTHER!!!!
kiltboy 0 #3 March 19, 2003 Didn't notice that I'd used that word. I have just came back from a beer run (Killian's anyone?) and it was a fantastic day so that's probably why I'm in a good mood. Spring is finally here. David
jessd 0 #4 March 19, 2003 What DZ do you jump at? For some reason I can't view your full-profile or I would have checked for myself. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."

kiltboy 0 #6 March 19, 2003 I'm jumping at Jumptown, Orange. We even took the Otter up to 13,500 on Saturday. They had 8 loads with it Sunday. David
jessd 0 #7 March 19, 2003 Cool. I am starting AFF at Jumptown on April 5th. I can't wait. I just need to get myself a tent or I will be sleeping in the car that night. kiltboy 0 #8 March 20, 2003 Sweet! the snow should have gone by then though it was pretty deep where it hadn't been cleared off. I think there may be bunk space (I've never used it so don't quote me but there are a shed load of mattresses around and there are showers. I did my AFF there and it's the only place I've jumped. The instruction is kickass plus the Otter is ex Norwegian military and still painted in camo. The weekend you mention is pretty much a recurrency weekend so it should be hopping but they'll look after you. David
