TEB6363 0 #56 December 27, 2002 I have to vote for Nathat....Chromboy....Umm Chromie, whatever his name is. For being "out there" not sure how to say it any other way. And for the quote "---, come lay down in the soft savanah." Blue Skies Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!! airann 1 #58 December 28, 2002 Hooknswoop for all the safety stuff he taught me and those here. (1st person I called after my 1st cutaway, my JM - who despite being scared shytless on my first jump he kept teaching me) Everytime I picture this guy he is looking at the ground with his head shaking like- Oh no - She didnt.... Michele for all the good stuff.Ramon for various reasons. Mainly, because after I have said something out loud regarding a safety issue and everyone laughs. ... Ramon comes around later and has the same reaction - nobody laughs and he is taken seriously. He is a humble person who learns from himself and others. In addition is dedicated to helping others freefly safely within the 3D Academy @ Skydive Houston which essentially takes him away from his own skydiving every weekend and that is admireable. Zennie - for valuable questions, answers, and opinions. Well known to me as The PeaceKeeper, he is a valuable personality at any DZ. ~AirAnn~
steve1 5 #59 December 28, 2002 It's tough for me to pick just one. Bill Von and Lisa would have to be at the top of the list though. And don't forget Clay for his intertaining posts on about any subject. I enjoyed Chrome-boys posts (although I haven't read too many lately). I've also learned a lot from Rigger Rob and Hook & Swoop. Then their's Chuck Blue who is one of the most knowlegeable jumpers anywhere, and he's S.F. (which makes him all right in my book). And I like AggieDave because he is a "Red Neck" like myself and he wears a cowboy hat. Michelle seems like a nice person. And then there's a bunch of others who have had the patience to answer all my dumb questions without laughing.......How can you pick just one! Iflyme 0 #60 December 28, 2002 I vote for Michele ... she represents all of us so well ... our human fraility ... our respect for others despite differing views, and her courage for pushing her fear back, and learning to skydive. Way to go, Michele!

freebird 0 #66 December 29, 2002 Hooknswoop for all the safety stuff he taught me *** ditto Also I nominate for rgoper for all of the time he spent with me. All day in the middle of a field we stood together and he helped me with learning how to control my new canopy. It was hot as hell in mid summer. But helped me. He never complained. Also for his patients and his sincerity.

BadDog 0 #68 December 29, 2002 Okay, the lawyer in me feels compelled to point out the fact that nominations were solicited, not votes. You're supposed to wait until all of the nominations are in before you vote. And I'm not sure "voting" is even allowed. Of course, expressing an opinion as to why you would vote for someone (once the nominations are closed) is probably within the spirit of the solicitation. Okay, I'm done. Keep on voting. BTW, I vote for what's his name.
