Guest #2 March 20, 2003 Quote http://www.avweb.com/news/profiles/183671-1.html Dave Kewl dude. Interviewed him about Michel Fournier's "Le Grand Saut", but didn't use the material. I've been trying for about three years now to get him to bring his New Standard to the WFFC for skydivers to jump out of (I mean, c'mon how much would YOU pay to jump out of Col Joe's biplane?!), but he finally told me he can't because he doesn't own it. Bummer. "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
pilotdave 0 #3 March 20, 2003 I went for a ride in a '29 New Standard at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome years ago. Would probably make an interesting jump plane. Pretty much looked like a Stearman but held 4 passengers plus the pilot. Dave

I was trying to turn him on to coming to the WFFC and flying jumpers; how it would be much more fun than flying old ladies around, and he could make more $$$ by flying jumpers because of the increased cycles, etc. What a shame."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
