Also, while there are a lot of good things from France, cars in America is not one of them (barring maybe the upscale Citroens). They're built to take a different kind of abuse, I think.

My son informed me a couple of years ago that now they're called to-go boxes.
Only restaurants catering to people from the '50s still have white paper bags with pictures of dogs on them.

There comes a point where diplomacy fails. Where that is, is up to those doing the negotiations. Once the compromise goes past the point of what one side is willing to give up, the threats of violence begin. If these negotiations where truly in the best interest of mankind (women too), I can see no limit to diplomatic efforts.
But as all countries involved are merely jogging for their own positions.....impasses are going to reached a lot quicker.
