indyz 1 #2 March 24, 2003 Looks like the server is just down. I ran a traceroute and got 17 hops before packets started disappearing into the void. If the server is being blocked by someone, it is happening outside of the US. I see two realistic options: 1) The server is down or the connection is broken somewhere on their end. OR 2) The server is overloaded, either unintentionally (lots of people want to know the news) or intentionally (denial of service attack). Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
