I was in the Gulf when the "Tanker Wars" started in the early 80's. I was in the Gulf again in 1990 during Desert Watch, and in 1991 during Desert Storm. In 1992 through 1995 protecting the No Fly zone over Iraq. And to read Someones post about WAR not being an option insults me and thousands of others. I tried to respond to a post by Wendy. I do respect her opinons although I disagree with them. I flew over Iraq in an effort to protect her freedom to feel the way she's allowed to feel and EXPRESS those feelings openly. BUT.. I do not have to aggree with them, that's the freedom and the right I fought for! Sadam is a BAD man.... there is a woman POW right now, what the FUCK do you think that women is going through right now? Tell ME, not to feel the need to BOMB the living crap out of anything walking in IRAQ. IRAQIE militia dressed as cvilians welcoming US solders, turned and abmushed US. DO YOU HEAR ME... They DRUG DEAD AMERICAN SOLDIERS throught the streets... Listen... You DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE with the Pres.'s decision BUT these are YOUR PROPLE fighting. Support them! They are there with the belief they are protecting your right to spit on them when they come home. I know I'm a "NEWBIE" to the dropzone forum,, but I am NOT a NEWBIE to fighting in IRAQ. As long as you debate the issue and don't attack the person delivering a position that you don't agree with, you should be fine. Sometimes locked threads don't have obvious broken rules in them. Stick to my rules and we'll have a great time and a lot of laughts. Ignore my rules and you'll have to find somewhere else to play. I can assure you there are a lot of others here who have served and have the scars to show for it. My respect to you.
