One of our own threw grenades into 3 command tents in Quwait.

They should shoot him on the spot.

Well, if they don't, rest assured he won't be having any fun at all for the rest of his life. I can't imagine that the guys in the brig with him will look too kindly on him after what he did...

I think we have to prepare for a lot more of these incidents. For a long time, Israel has been the target of the arabs who hate the "evil zionist alliance" or whatever they're calling the US-Israel alliance nowadays. If we're there for two years, we will present a target for terrorism that's every bit as good as Israel.

Where do you get the word on his ancestry? I read he was disgruntled over having been disciplined. Nowhere have I read anything about ancestry.

It's completely unacceptable what he did, and I would imagine he'll either spend the rest of his life in jail, or long enough that it will seem like it.

deleted and PM'd. thanks

I take it you don't think it's OK to disagree with anything? Is it just disagreeing with Bush that's anti American, or should I avoid disagreeing with Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and everyone else? How about Rush?

>I like Rush..

I do too. One of my favorites:

----------

A memo to a higher office
An open letter to the powers that be
To a god, a king, a head of state
A captain of industry
To the movers and the shakers...
Can't everybody see?

It ought to be second nature
I mean, the places where we live
Let's talk about this sensibly
We're not insensitive
I know progress has no patience
But something's got to give

I know you're different
You know I'm the same
We're both too busy
To be taking the blame
I'd like some changes
But you don't have the time
We can't go on thinking
It's a victimless crime
No one is blameless
But we're all without shame
We fight the fire while we're feeding the flames

Folks have got to make choices
And choices got to have voices
Folks are basically decent
Conventional wisdom would say
But we read about the exceptions
In the papers every day . . .

Today is different, and tomorrow the same
It's hard to take the world the way that it came
Too many rapids keep us sweeping along
Too many captains keep on steering us wrong
It's hard to take the heat
It's hard to take blame
To fight the fire while we're feeding the flames

I am not against the death penalty but I believe it would be alot worse on a person to know that they will never beable to step into the world as a free person, or beable to have a family. Well maybe he will have a family with Bubba his cell mate.
