SkyDekker 1,465 #26 March 25, 2003 I am so sorry for your loss and truly feel for you. Saying good bye o a friend is always hard, saying good bye to a friend who has always offered unconditional love is almost impossible....
jceman 1 #27 March 25, 2003 Quotebefore he has died, i couldnt imagine getting a new dog, but now, i miss that feeling so much. take your time and mourn, when it feels right, you'll know. a new puppy is not a replacement, its a new puppy. That is a very good statement. Here is another way to look at it, there are way too many puppies that need homes. Toby obviously appreciated his home and now has left room for a puppy who needs you to stand in his stead. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

hooked 0 #30 March 25, 2003 Thanks Chris. In two weeks I will get to spend time with my "Grandpuppies", that should help, along with the sunny warmth of Arizona!! My son has two dogs that I love dearly, so I'm looking forward to spoiling them. It's kind of empty around here.
