Back in the air again! Made two awsome jumps at Elsinore today. Met up with Michele and Cora. They became my big sisters and i bacame there little brother.:D Did a 4 way with Gawain, IslandCool, and someone i had never met before. The count got messed up and the exit funneled, but we had fun chasing each other around the sky. Broke off at 5 pulled at 3. Almost landed in the pea's on my pre-second jump at Elsinore!!! Second jump was a two-way with that hotty Cora, mmmmmm red hair!:) So we spent the rest of the dive messing with fall rate and stuff. I showed her my arch so she could see it for herself. Broke at 5 dumped at 3.

I noticed that my tracking has gotten better, i feel like i can cup more air. Guess the swimming has helped. :)

1 canopy collision wittinessed, scary stuff, one jumper spiraled into another just under 1000ft one jumper cutaway REALLY low and had his reserve open about tree level, landed in a tree and was fine, the other jumper had some pretty bad burns and cuts on his face, and a little shaken up, but otherwise ok:o

0 jumps today but maybe some tommorow:)

Dude, the weekend isn't over yet! But, even though we were weathered out today, I still have 4 jumps so far this weekend...

Some pics of me might surface wearing an RW suit and going through some Skydive U training with one of our kick ass Skydive U coaches...just think, me in a RW suit, with booties and grippers...:P

1 badly shaken spouse:2:0

After weeks of lousy weather, we were greeted with a fine morning and a beautiful day. Made one jump with Lynn and had a ball. Made a second and again had a ball up until landing time.

We had discussed the rotors coming off the trees and where to land to avoid them; well, to make a long story short, in my attempt to avoid the rotors, I took it a bit long and just missed landing on a small hangar!

Lynn was not as lucky, she was getting bounced around a bit and as she reached about 20 feet and started her final landing setup, the rotor collapsed her canopy, she dropped from about 15 feet, bounced off her left hip then her head.:(

She is sore but otherwise fine. We're both glad I was too busy missing the obstacles to see her landing!

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

Aggie D did you mean to say...boots and bumpers? bwahhhh

jce~ So glad that you and Lynn are alright. Please give her my regards.
We had a dust devil pick up one of the swoopers yesterday, glad to say that his injuries included a fractured ankle and lots of skin missing from his backside. Dust devils are nasty and this young man was quite fortunate.
Be careful out there..

e-gad (spelling?), it's hard to picture Aggie Dave in a RW suit. :S

Well my weekend isn't over, but I did have a pretty good Saturday of jumping (five jumps made today). But I can't see myself getting seven in tomorrow (I'll likely only do another five, maybe six) so my 200th may have to wait. [:/]

If I make it to Perris Valley in May, we'll have to make a jump together (maybe a tracking dive) as you and I are a compatible size. ;)

Oh yeah. Half my weekend numbers....

12 (times I thought seriously about taking a pain pill but changed my mind 'cuz I might have had to drive somewhere):0:0

Now that I'm back from a quick visit with my kid, I'll be taking a pain pill. And as soon as my boss gets back from Thailand I'll be taking a few hours off work to go to the doctor to figure out why my shoulder STILL hurts...

Goodness, Jack! Send Lynn my warm wishes and I hope she won't be too sore tomorrow. Glad you're ok too! :)

One downwind landing (unintentional) another first by the way.

Four Jumps...Gwain and Viking were cool. Yep...I blew the count.:S My first 4 way and I was nervous as hell:D Great fun tho.

No beer. I was going to buy a few rounds but no bar at the DZ. First time at Elsinore. Asked if they wanted to go out but it was getting late and everyone had a long drive. So I'll just have to save it for next time. Hell I was ready to go dancing. Had a great time. Everyone at the DZ was pretty cool.

blue skies

Jack, give Lynn a hug and some aspirin for me, and really glad you missed the hangar.
