sunshine 2 #55 March 24, 2003 2:4:? 2 blisters on my feet from rollerskating. Yes, i actually went to a roller rink on Friday night. It was packed full of grade school kids, but me and my "date" had a great time anyway. 4 freefly jumps. 2 of the jumps were with Opie!! According to a certain .commer i owe a lot of beer....i guess i'll just have to bring a beer truck to FL to pay him off. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! riddler 0 #56 March 24, 2003 3:1:0 Spent all day Saturday getting my hands on a new rig. Went to the DZ Sunday and did 1 jump with the old rig. Then waited around to do a coach evaluation jump with an AFF instructor, but got winded out before we could go. At least I got one jump in!!Trapped on the surface of a sphere. Anyhoo, i'm a damn good stalker. Over the weekend i managed to get in 2 jumps with my victim Opie, and even found out where he lived and a few other things. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! psuCory 0 #61 March 24, 2003 2:13:0 (+2) Humps (1) 8000 ft of ice crystals, talk about motivation to stick your sit! (2) One packing error - step through (blame the packer! blame the packer! - shit, I'm the only one who has ever packed my rig . Note to self, don't do that again, it's kinda' a little scary. Nearly chopped, but the canopy was controllable so it was landed as is. Jumps Friday: One solo and one 2-way sit jumps. Saturday: 5 total, but... Freakin' weather. One hop-n-pop just to get into the air. A few low level jumps, solos and 2-way sits due to weather. One glorious full altitude 2-way sit. And then......... AAAAGH the painful ice jump. If you've felt it before you know what I mean, if you don't know... consider yourself lucky Sunday: WHHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO. Gorgeous weather all day; warm sun, mild breeze, and cool people. It was a day filled with 2-way sit jumps, some that went well and some that went even better The +1 is beer, but not owed by me. We tossed our primary jump pilot out of the plane – ok it was a tandem but still!! Following that, we threw the new pilot in the pond for giving his first (beer) solo jump run. All in all, one hella-fun weekend.

Shark 0 #63 March 24, 2003 1:7:2 One great weekend! 7= 2 Hop-n-packs, 2 Level 1s, 2 Level 2s, and 1 Level 3. All were with pretty good students. 1 case of Corona, and 1 case of Heineken, both for good karma and good friends.

jceman 1 #65 March 25, 2003 Just a couple comments to wrap up the weekend's activities and an update. It looks like it was a very active weekend, with a number of "interesting" skydives. I'm so glad that all seem to be ok, and send my best regards to those who were injured; may they heal quickly. AD and Matt chose to post their adventures in the Gen Skydiving forum vs the Incidents; I am not saying this was in appropriate, but neither would have been inappropriate in Incidents -- it is not only for fatals. All in all, I'm glad they both had the ability to make that choice. the Update? TLML is pretty sore, but did work yesterday and today after icing herself down Saturday night. When she go home today she said "Well, I have a bruise now!" and dropped her shorts to show me a nice 8 inch square multicolored patch just below her left hip! Let's all have another good weekend next time, but let's try to keep the adventures down a bit, ok? Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

Broke it at 5 neither one of us really remembered how to track, opened and headed for the stack. Built a stack on a Hornet 190 at 1:1 and a Jedei 136 at 1.5:1 and broke it down at 2200 feet. God I forgot how much I LOVE THIS SHIT!!! Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
billo 0 #68 March 25, 2003 0:7:1 WOO HOO! Felt good to be back in the air, first time since Eloy! Sounds like the winds gave some other folks some problems too...Saturday was great, but Sunday I managed to get 2 in before being winded out. My buddy wasn't so lucky on our last jump. The wind had picked up and he landed right next to the runway, and then a gust of wind took his chute and dragged him across the runway. He was ok, but it shredded part of his shirt and 2 reserve flaps on his container. Luckily it didn't burn through to the freebag, but close. Oh my beer was for finally leading a couple tracking dives. Just was always someone else around who wanted to lead more than me! But saturday evening a couple of the younger guys wanted to do one so i said sure i'd give it a shot. It was fun and managed to cover tons of ground.b

Snowbird 0 #70 March 25, 2003 Taking my cue from Jessica... fuck:the:weather! Finally had the entire weekend off, and it blustered and blew and rained all weekend. Woke up this morning to perfect blue skies. Doh! Murphy hard at work yet again. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. HeatherB 0 #71 March 26, 2003 Ok, I'll play since I had an odd weekend! ?:1:1 One jump. And one cutaway! Kinda put me out of commission for the rest of Saturday (don't like jumping borrowed gear), then the weather was crappy all day Sunday. Hoping this weekend will be better! blue skies, Heather
jceman 1 #73 March 26, 2003 Quote 104 OK. I'll bite. So you got lucky once. You didn't jump, so how did you come to owe 4 cases of beer for firsts? jceman 1 #75 March 26, 2003 Quote I owe 4 cases becasue I used the "F"word 4 times but since she's a wuffo do I still owe? Only if they were skydiving related.
