skybytch 273 #1 March 25, 2003 I've been asked by a friend to help her move her kid and son-in-law to Tennessee next week. No loading, no unloading, all expenses except food covered... we just drive the truck, drop it off and grab a rental car for the trip back. I've never done a cross country drive before, and she's way fun to road trip with so I'm really looking forward to it. Not to mention three days off work... I'm kinda looking forward to that too... We'll be making time on the way there, but we can be more like tourists on the way back. Any suggestions of cool places to see and/or things to do along or within a half hour drive of Interstate 40? I'd stop by and see you, but I'm afraid my friend might fall instantly in lust, tear your clothes off and then we'd end up getting home two days late. Besides, I'll see you in August! quade 4 #9 March 25, 2003 Meteor Crater just outside of Winslow is pretty interesting -- if you're a big geek like me. Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico is a little out of the way, but if you've never visited before it might be worth a stop on the way back. Graceland in Memphis -- pay your respects to the King. Oh yeah, one more thing . . . on the way back . . . buy fireworks!quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

AirMail 0 #14 March 26, 2003 Hey, why worry about state lines. Besides you can hide it under the back seat of the rental car and say you never saw it before. Patrick -- It's never too late to have a happy childhood. Postal Rodriguez, Muff 3342
