Optimum 126 packs like a Smart...?

Recommended Posts

Just a general quest for info here.

For those that pack them, which of the Smart reserves does an Optimum 126 pack the same sort of size as?

Thanks.

Cheers. That's pretty much what I thought.

On a more fine detail point of view, does it pack a little smaller, the same as or a little bigger than a Smart 110?

No plans to. Don't have a Smart 110, don't have a Op. 126. As stated in my original post, this is just part of a general quest for info.

I'm just trying to gauge which of the two packs the biggest/smallest and if possible, by how much.

as I don't have either, I have no way of answering this question myself, hence me asking on here.

Just to put it out there too (in addition to 'orange is cool', which is true):

If your profile is right, your wingloading on the Optimum is 1.43. On the Smart it would be 1.63.

If they pack up roughly the same, that's gotta be an easy decision even if the Optimum is fractionally bulkier (and I don't know if that's true either)?

Would also like a bigger low-bulk reserve Santa if you're listening

Just to clarify again, I'm not looking to get a Smart 110 or an Op.126. I am purely trying to find out information for simple knowledge's sake.

I have a PD126 in my current rig and as I just got the container not that long ago, I will hope to have it for quite a long time still.

I am only trying to get information.

I am not looking to buy either, so there is no decision to even think about making!

I hope that is clear!!
