wingnut 0 #1 March 29, 2003 nope this isn't a s&m thread.. this ost id just aboutw what the title says... ouch and fun.. well i got to jump the dc-3 at te dz today (friday) and it climbs like a rocket....... felt like i was on an otter or a caraan..... took up the state of utah attorney general and the mayor of the town the dz s in and itwas fun.... jumped the "southern cross" that was down in lodi for the winter.. met our new pilot bob and all was good...untill the jump that is.. i was filming a tandem and this was to be my first jump (beer i already paid) on my helmet with my new camera on it....both video and still..... well i jump with the tandem and on exit i get my ring sight all out of wack seeing as the tandem pasenger wacked me with his leg.... well i video the jump a best i could with just guessing were my camera was pointed and since it was a new setup didn't have a good idea what was in fram.. turns out i had em in fom most of the time..... the spot was way long and i'm cooking it downwind to get back to the dz... fo some reason i thoughti was upwind and decid to land in the same direction i was flying the whole time.... lets just say i got about a 100 foot surf outa that landing but decided to try and run it out when i should of slid it in... so i went feet, knees, face, helmet...pop goes my still mount and breaks my quick disconect mount and then it jambs my forhead into myhelmet and i have this really funky bruise on my forhead now that is about 3 inches long by about 1 inch high..... don't think i'll be able to wear a helmet for a whie now cuz my mindwarp fits snug and it will hurt to much to wea it with this owwee on my head..... guess that makes one less item i'm gona take with me to ohio ext week... oh wel that's my story..... hopefully i'll get to make a coule jumps tommorow and maybe...just maybe they will have the twin bonanza there too to jump as we have to have 22 people for the dc-3.................... ............... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
